On Tuesday, February 7 solemn handing Certificate of training completed his studies first-generation pharmacist in Croatia . Fifty of the unemployed, of which eight persons with disabilities, successfully completed the program "Strengthening competencies for employment in drugstores" initiated by the Institution for Adult Education - Callidus in partnership with dm and Croatian Employment Service, Regional Office Zagreb (CES) .

The participants were acquainted with the details and specifics assortment drugstore, basic business processes and the foundations of marketing and business communications . The workshops took place in shops dm mentored by sixteen employees dm and the students firsthand everyday tasks staff in the pharmacy.

"The purpose of this project was to create and offer adequate training program for potential employees drugstore, health food stores and natural cosmetics as such on the market of education in Croatia does not exist. In a time of rapid change trends in sales of drugstore products that occur due to increased awareness of customers about healthy living, growing volume and financial performance and the number of employees in drugstores and shops of healthy products. The realization of the project we have developed a new training program for which it was established that there is an interest, and the knowledge and skills students will stimulate new employment. The project "Strengthening competencies for employment in drug stores" is the first educational program in Croatiafocused on developing new standards druggist interest to the Croatian Qualifications Framework. Educational program for potential employees drugstore, store, health food and natural cosmetics, with a total value of 1.051 million kuna, is co-financed from European social Fund in the amount of 95% .
